Zero-Waste Art

Zero-Waste Art is; Art that is in harmony with the key principals of sustainability, which include ecology, social justice, non violence and grassroots democracy. Zero-Waste Art may also be understood as art that is produced with consideration for the wider impact of the work and its reception to its environments (social, economic, biophysical, historical and cultural).

Waste Art, the brainchild of zero-waste artist Todd Bank, is; 15 tons of non-recyclable waste materials that's he's upcycled into a large body of socially conscious art. It is also a zero-waste art exhibition that will explore how art made with found or donated waste materials can help mitigate the root causes of global warming and other forms of harmful pollution.
